Male Fertility as a Marker of Disease

It is clear that evaluating men for infertility can often result in treatments that fix the problem and avoid costly technology to conceive. In this grand rounds lecture, Dr. Turek shares the findings from his recent research that demonstrates that male infertility can also be a “biomarker” of future health in men. Specifically, he explains in a very clear way how infertile men may be at risk for both testis and prostate cancer later in life, well after the initial problem of infertility.
