The risks from vasectomy are extremely low and for many men a vasectomy is "the best form of contraception." Dr. Turek also discusses that sex drive and performance are unrelated.
A vasectomy is durable and effective, but it is also reversible in most cases. Vasectomy reversals are usually highly successful and can still be successful even 10 years or more later. Dr. Turek also explains the option of sperm retrieval combined with invitro fertilization.
